OpenContrail, Real Speed: Offloading vRouter

The OpenContrail project aims to produce an open-source platform that delivers high performance software-defined networking while integrating cleanly with existing networking equipment. Netronome has added support for transparent hardware acceleration of OpenContrail's vRouter dataplane using Agilio hardware. This webinar discusses the architecture of the system as well as the components we hope to open up to the broader community. We discuss how to support transparent offload in the context of a split data plane as well as provisioning of NFP resources required to produce a performant solution.
