Detecting Network-based Attacks (inbound/outbound) in the Cloud

Public cloud platforms are becoming attractive targets (inbound) for network-based attacks, such as spam, DDoS, and SQL injection. Moreover, the clouds have been used as attack sources (outbound). In this project, we are planning to use SmartNIC as a platform for categorizing inbound/outbound attacks in the Cloud. We will develop a P4 program to detect the attack patterns over SmartNICs.
